We are located within the pedestrian area in the old town centre and you can park for free a few minutes walk away, or reserve a parking space even closer to the Casetta.
A fairytale village with a panorama 800 metres above the lake. A 12-minute drive from Cannero Riviera and a few kilometres from the Swiss border, Trarego Viggiona is a village of art. Stay with us if you want to visit the Wonderwood park: we are a 7-minute drive away.
In a few minutes by car, motorbike or mountain bike you will reach Monte Carza, where the first Big Bench of Lake Maggiore is located. Or, descending towards the lake, you can swim at the blue-flagged Lido di Cannero, go shopping at the Cannobio market or head off to explore the Borromean Islands.
This little house has an old heart and is all new. It is our homage to those rebellious girls: Desi and Carolina, but also Enrica and Verbena. Girls who did not let someone else write their destiny: they did it themselves.
When I was a child (and this is Max speaking) I used to come to Cheglio every summer. Next to Grandma Desi’s house I would always see Carolina’s old house, uninhabited. An old village house, rather run-down and closed for at least 40 years. So I got the idea to buy it, renovate it and make it the starting point for my holidays on Lake Maggiore.
